Another great Tonya Kappes book! I have fallen in love with cozy mysteries since this quarantine started. I have been trying to whittle down my TBR which is now mostly full of YA fantasy's.. and I love to read this series between those chunkier books.. 
I love Mae and all of the secondary characters, in this one we get to meet someone from Mae's past.. and Mae ends up taking care of a prized poodle named Fifi while her owner is locked up on suspicion of murder.. 
This is a fun series that makes me happy while reading it.. I already have the next one in the series downloaded and Ill be reading it very soon..
