I was scared that after so many books in the series, the fifth would be unoriginal, but thankfully the author brought forward stories that are similar but different in their own right. My favorite story was definitely the second, I felt so sad for the couple...I wished it was a bit longer, and not only because it was my favorite, I also felt that way about the first story.

Even though at this point I’m familiar with the cafe and the concept, the stories still move me, especially the last one

This is the 5th book in the series of "Before the coffee gets cold". By this time, the cozy feeling from the book felt repetitive. I think I'm done with cozy reads / Japanese literature for awhile.

The ending tho... left me going "?!?!?"

I missed a trick by not becoming the author of an inoffensive cosy but repetitive book series.

I appreciate where he had tried to change it up for this installment but it is still pretty much the same that it was in the previous books. It does the job if you are in the mood for something very quick and sentimental.
