Before we forget kindness

If you’ve read the previous books, you’ll be very familiar with the characters, places and everything that comes with the cafe in this story. So sometimes, a few parts really do feel a bit repetitive. But lovely story, with The Valentine chapter making me teary 😔 Nice way to start the year 💜

I don’t know how this man does it, but I will read every story, even though they’re so bittersweet (some are heartbreaking ngl). Honestly, I don’t want to spoil too much xx  just my deepest recommendation.

This is the 5th book in the series of "Before the coffee gets cold". By this time, the cozy feeling from the book felt repetitive. I think I'm done with cozy reads / Japanese literature for awhile.

The ending tho... left me going "?!?!?"

I missed a trick by not becoming the author of an inoffensive cosy but repetitive book series.

I appreciate where he had tried to change it up for this installment but it is still pretty much the same that it was in the previous books. It does the job if you are in the mood for something very quick and sentimental.
