Holy revenge ride. Deacon and Mia bring chemistry to a whole new level! This was my first read by both Tracy Lorraine and Angel Devlin, needless to say I will be devouring everything from both of them from now on. What I thought was going to be a dirty kinky, delight that would just be a hot read turned into a full on emotional hostage situation. Once I opened this book I didn’t put it down, it’s the perfect collision of characters with a filthy asshole alpha challenged by a sassy socialite with the drive for more. Deacon King may be the master of playing games but Mia Hamilton knows how to bring him to his knees without even realizing it. The way she exposes her inner self and allows limits to be pushed with such trust breaks him, showing vulnerability he didn’t know he was capable of indulging in. I wanted to hate Deacon for his devious schemes but I couldn’t help but fall for the broken boy he is deep down. Mia shows him what true love can be but will he let his revenge ruin everything it touches or will he let her repair their broken lives? I guarantee you will rip through this book with your thighs clenching just as much as your heart wrenches.
