Two Scandals and a Scot The Duchess Society Book 5
Reviews

Two Scandals and a Scot is the 5th book in The Duchess Society series by Tracy Sumner, but it can be read as a standalone. It's also the fourth book of hers that I've read. It came out on the 20th of April and is available on Kindle Unlimited.
When Theo's fiance's pregnant mistress shows up on the eve of their wedding, she does the only logical thing; run away in her friend's carriage. It's just the friend is the notorious Dash Campbell, who wrote the book on gambling -quite literally. When Dash decides to join her and aid this expedition, they cause quite a scandal and wind up married to save her honor.
Tracy Sumner does not disappoint with one thing. The book is steamy AF, and I loved it that aspect of it. The characters also have a lot of potential
However, while I liked how Tracy Sumner did the friends-to-lovers, arranged marriage, and reformed rakes tropes in this book, someone should have given this a more critical read, especially towards the end with Jasper. We have a lot of him in the book, but it's so weird. Like so incredibly weird that I just wanted to run away. The conflict didn't work; Dash and Theo seem happy, but she's extremely insecure, and I genuinely dislike characters who play stupid games (when Dash was in the doghouse).
While I know I'll read more by Tracy Sumner, I am slightly disappointed with this book. The end with Jasper and the knife just left me meh-ed out by what could have been a much better book.
