Tramp for the Lord

Moriah Howard

The school of life offers some difficult courses, but it is in the difficult class that one learns the most-especially when your teacher is the Lord Jesus Himself.

The life of a Christian is an education for higher service.

Faith is like radar which sees through the fog the reality of things at a distance that the human eye cannot see.

My life is but a weaving, between mny God and me, I do not choose the colors, He worketh steadily, Oftimes He weaveth sorrow, andI in foolish pride, Forget He sees the upper, and I the underside. Not till the loom is silent, and shuttles cease to fly, Will God unroll the canvas and explain the reason why. The dark threads are as needful in the skillful Weaver's hand, As the threads of gold and silver in the pattern He has planned.

Heaven in the midst of hell. Light in the midst of darkness. What a security!

y paPels. I soon discovered that man's importunity is God's opportunity. He uses our problems as building materials for His miracles.

The only way to get rid of bitterness is to surrender it."

If we forgive other people. our hearts are made ft to receive forơiveness.

"Corrie ten Boom without the Lord Jesus cannot be victorious. I need the Lord every moment. And I have learned that I am absolutely dependent on Him. Because of this He has made me rich.”

I would much rather be the trusting child of a rich Father, than a beggar at the door of worldly men.

I remembered the words of Dwight Moody, "The valley of the shadow of death holds no darkness for the child of God. There must be light, else there could be no shadow. Jesus is the Light. He has overcome death,"

Forgiveness is the key which unlocks the door of resentment and the handcuffs of hatred. It breaks the chains of bitterness and the shackles of selishness. The forgiveness of Jesus not only takes away our sins, it makes them as if they had never been.

Surrender to the Lord Jesus Christ must not be partial but total. Only when we repent and turn away from our sins (using His power, of course) does He fill us with His Holy Spirit. The fruit of the Holy Spirit makes us right with God and God's love in us makes us right with men. Through that we can forgive-- even love-our enemies. Jesus Himself makes us ready for His Coming.

Continues the life story of Corrie Ten Boom, a survivor of Hitler's concentration camps and a dedicated evangelist traveling the world to deliver the message of her god.

Fantastic book! Strengthened my faith through the faithful walk of Corrie ten Boom.

This book is incredible! It follows life after the previous book (The Hiding Place) and describes how God used Corrie to impact so many people.
