I think that the ideas in this book are important to think about when one travels. Personally the values which he is a proponent of I tend to support. Honestly though, the author for much of the book comes off as a know-it-all prick. The biggest positive of the book was that it made me interested in going to Iran. Interesting concepts just wish he would have written differently
