An agreeable poem collection that I finished rather quickly but which still managed to strike a cord in me. I could find pieces of myself in some of the poems and the ache it made me feel was like a wound I had forgotten.

The confessional tone and frequent aphorisms in these poems felt slightly one-dimensional, despite the interesting use of Greek mythology. While the message of female empowerment is commendable, the lack of rhythmic or structural variations limited the emotional impact for me. Perhaps exploring more nuanced poetic forms could enhance the emotional depth and reach a wider audience.

Disappointing!
The first book was so good and this one just felt forced!
The journal pages were pretty though
