A lovely little middle grade book, a read that I needed for a lovely afternoon spent in garden, dreaming and enjoying a shorter book.
Definitely a story I will keep in my shelf for my future children. A little bit spooky, dark and fairytale-ish, a read you would most likely enjoy during Autumn time! 
A story about children who end up on an adventure to save their schoolmates from evil, a bit of a modern ghost story. Nothing too macabre or chilling, if you don´t like horrors you don´t have to be afraid. The mood is gloomy and exciting, not too creepy, so it´s perfectly suitable for 10/11 years kids too.
I loved the setting, the moving backstory of the main character, and that the kids characters were not flat, but actually kind of nicely written for such a lovely book. But not surprised, Katherine Arden writes beautifully.
