Warning: This is going to be a very vague review since I don't want to give away anything!

This is book two in the Secret Society series but could be read as a standalone. After reading Half Truths I knew I had to continue this series and read this book. I knew the second I picked this book up I wouldn't be able to put it down and I was right! I love that this book and Half Truths just threw you right into the middle of something crazy the second you open it. I loved that this plot kept me on my toes and I truly didn't know what might happen. I was intrigued and ready to unpack every and anything that seemed suspicious, which was basically everything. This book is filled with twists and turns and it will keep you on the edge of your seat the entire read. If you’re looking for a great romantic suspense that is steamy, full of secrets, and suspense, this is for you!

This was a really fun journey to read and if you’ve read this book you’re probably like “wtf it was fun?!” But no really it was! As twisted as the title, Twisted Circles, is a very well written suspense. Claire has so many wheels turning at one point that I wasn’t sure how they would all lock into place. By the end though- it all makes sense. There are some really interesting elements to the story that had my ID Channel/Unsolved Mysteries heart devouring pages. 

Adam and Eva are both incredibly calculated characters. At time in can make their connection a bit “off” yet in reality it’s not. Their love just isn’t the typical head over heels instalove we’re so used to. Expect my boy Adam…. He fell hard. I wish I had his patience. Eva is smart as a whip. There was nothing that could keep her away from unraveling the truth. Her character embodies determination time and time again. 

I honesty could read a book by Claire that was solely suspend. I absolutely enjoyed the romance, duh, but the mystery and lore surrounding this world at Ellis is captivating. I’m eagerly awaiting the next book in this standalone series.
