NINO FALCONE, VC É TUDO!!! sem palavras pra esse livro. há tempos não me via envolvida em uma história como fiquei com essa. amei absolutamente tudo! a forma como o nino trata a kiara, como ele respeita o tempo dela, o relacionamento dele com os irmãos, é incrível! cora reilly, eu te odeio por me fazer amar tanto um personagem fictício.

Obsessed with Nino Falcone

the romance felt forced and came abruptly, but it's arranged marriage after all. so, i can let it pass. the chemistry on the other hand, was zero. but, nino's approach towards kiara was heartwarming — so does all of the falcones. they respect kiara's boundary so much, though she haven't opened up about her trauma yet.

the slowburn is soooo frustrating, leaving the reader so thirsty and icky but understandable recalling everything kiara went though. i love nino for what he did to kiara, not even once he intentionally hurt kiara. in fact, he tried so hard not to. he keeps her.

their relationship is indeed feels forced, but still, they're beautiful together. i adore them so much. <3

4.5 Estrellas. Me gustó mucho mas que el primero. Tiene un desarrollo mas gradual, más intimo, aunque no es tan explosivo como el primero en cuanto a la acción, me enganchó más que el primero. Disfruté del desarrollo de Kiara como personaje, pasa de ser tan dulce y temerosa a una mujer más decidida y fuerte dentro de sus posibilidades claro, recordemos que en el mundo de la mafia los hombres son los que se imponen. No obstante, su personaje se hace notar. Por su parte, Nino me pareció un personaje muy interesante y entretenido, su constante lógica me divertía. Y aunque el libro en general tiene una trama predecible y sus puntos débiles, la historia es buena. En fin, me gustó este segundo libro bastante. Estoy deseando leer más sobre Remo en el tercer libro.

sometimes an over the top arranged marriage mafia book can actually be something so personal

Holy mother of Christ! I was so in love with Nino & Kiara. First I thought Nino couldn't be a perfect husband to Kiara guess I am wrong and the way he treated Kiara in the first place is something I can get enough. It was so beautiful. He was willing to try for Kiara despite he doesn't feel emotion.

I'm not even joking when I say this one is probably my favorite of all Cora Reilly's books I've heard so far. I was curious about the Camorra ever since Remo and Nino appeared in Bound by Blood series and having a series dedicated to the Las Vegas mafia seems to be way more interesting that what I've expected. Finally I have a female main character that didn't annoy me in any moment of the book. And Nino? I absolutely loved how logical and honest he was ever since the beginning with Kiara. It also helped when he is a man of his word and also tried his best to help her fight the demons of her past. (view spoiler)[And don't even get me started when Nino and Remo killed her uncle... That was so good. I might have a problem liking them this much. (hide spoiler)] I absolutely love that both of them grew past their wounds together and worked to have a real marriage. And even though the Camorra has some principles that I don't agree with, I love that they don't keep the "business" details a secret from the women in their life. I cannot wait to continue the series, especially cause I know Remo's book is next, but I'm also so curious to see more of Nino and Kiara in the next books!

i forgive cora for writing the atrocity that was bibmc bc she gave me ninokiara 🫶🏼

rate is actually 3.75 - it was good and i read it in a day, but i wish we got to see more of nino realizing something changed within him. i wanted to feel what he felt even tho he was “emotionless” but we didn’t get that opportunity.

3/5 stars I love the end. I hate when books end with them saying I love you. Like I read all this and for what. Like I love the journey but I wanna see the destination. It was an okay read overall. I feel like these types of books are an acquired taste. Like I only read this cause I just needed a not too dark sweet kinda slow mafia book. But sometimes they suck cause u get invested in the side plot of what they are doing in the mafia then it ends and u don’t see.

4'5/5⭐ ⬇️ Ay, la historia de Kiara y Nino es súper bonita. Lo bonito que es Nino con Kiara, buah, me ha encantado. He disfrutado mucho con la historia de Kiara y Nino, de verdad. Me ha parecido muy bonita, llena de momentos de superación, valentía, crecimiento personal. Dos personas rotas, que juntas y gracias a la confianza, el paso del tiempo y luchando, consiguen superar todo. Kiara me ha encantado. Me ha parecido una persona súper fuerte y luchadora, con un pasado complicado. Me ha encantado su dulzura, cariño y sus ganas de seguir adelante y luchar. Me ha apasionado su personaje, de verdad. Al igual que Nino, qué amor de personaje, en serio. Él también tiene un duro pasado, en un chico serio, fuerte y sin emociones. Pero Kiara cambiará su forma de ver muchas cosas. A pesar de ser muy diferentes, Kiara y Nino se complementan súper bien y tienen escenas preciosas y muy emocionantes. Me ha encantado reencontrarme con Leona y Fabiano, protagonistas del primee libro de la serie. Vemos cómo continúa la relación y ha sido genial. Y también durante este libro vemos por donde irá la trama del siguiente libro, que es la historia de Remo. 'Twisted emotions' es una historia súper bonita de superación personal, amor, cariño y respeto. He disfrutado mucho con esta novela y con la historia de Kiara y Nino, ha sido fantástica.
