Twisted Perfection

Twisted Perfection

Abbi Glines2013
From the author of the red-hot Vincent Boys, Sea Breezeand Too Farnovels, comes another steamy romance... Can you handle bad-boy Woods? My future was about to be completely thrown off track because Della Sloane was under my skin, and I had to have her. I couldn't ignore it anymore. . . . I'd gotten close enough to her to see deeper. Della Sloane is not your average girl. Yearning to break free of her dark and sheltered past, Della plans a solo road trip to experience real life on her own terms. But the trip is nearly cut short in the little beach town of Rosemary when she realizes she can't even pump her own gas-until Woods Kerrington shows up, more than willing to help out a pretty girl in need. Woods's family wants him to settle down with a wealthy woman in pearls, but he can't resist this carefree girl in cutoffs passing through town. A one-night stand should have been enough, but months later, Woods can't get the irresistible Della out of his head. When a twist of fate brings Della back to Woods, all signs point to trouble if they don't keep their distance. Neither is truly free, and a relationship could destroy both of them. With their hearts on the line, Della thinks the safest bet is to walk away. But Woods isn't about to let that happen…

Definitely loved Woods and Della's story. They make a cute couple and the story flowed and kept my attention. I can't wait for the next book to come out. Twisted Perfection held my attention and I liked that you got a brief glimpse of Blaire. I like it when authors mention characters from other books when they share a common interest or are friends from other books. I can't wait to see where the relationship goes, especially with the surprise at the ending of the book that I was not expecting. What will happen with Woods now and how will it affect their relationship.

Rating: 4 Stars - Loved It I would love to see all the characters from Perfection series and Too Far series on TV. Watching the drama unfold with all the lick able male characters would be a weekly treat. Seeing a live version of Woods in his board shorts shirtless and Rush sporting his tattoos doing naughty things to Blaire with his sexy tongue ring would have me glued to the TV. If I did not already have the hot's for Woods from before I would be crushing on him within 3% of my kindle. Right away Della and Woods had a connection. Picturing Woods from the lovely cover with his 5 o'clock shadow whispering in Della's ear had me wanting more of him. "I pressed the gas door button. It's in your car just under your dash." He didn't move away from me invading his personal space. Instead, he'd lowered his head to talk into my ear. His voice was low and rumbled deliciously. Woods wants Della, she is not like others he has ever been with. She is real and does not try to impress him, but because of his over controlled father about his future he can not have her. The problem he has is he can not stay away from her or keep his hands off of her. He is starting to become jealous, possessive and protected of her when other men are starting to pay attention to her. Woods alpha male hotness is how I like my heroes. Della is broken but does not show it until it can not be kept hidden anymore. The back flashes with her mom were creepy. Tripp who is a friend of everyone in this series and became her friend before was a perfect match for Della. They are both Broken and just trying to find where they fit in life. No worries no love triangle just Tripp is a good friend of Della. And I hope he does get his own story want to know more about him and his demons he keeps buried. But Woods needs someone like Della to show him there is more to life than being under control by his family. I also loved her friendship with Braden from back home. She is fore sure a kind of friend that Della needed in her life. She was honest and protective. Loved that they were a package deal when Braden got married her husband was a sweetheart. Twisted Perfection started right away with a steamy- cold -shower- needed sex scene and the sex scenes just got steamier through out the novel. If you thought Too Far Series were steamy well Twisted Perfection will blow you away. There are many and I mean many well written sex scenes with a dirty talking Woods. They were sexy together in and out of the bedroom. "Are you gonna come in my mouth?" He asked sticking out his tongue and running it from my opening to my swollen clit. "I need to," I panted. "This pretty little pussy needs to come?" he asked, taking another long leisurely lap with his tongue. I squirmed and whimpered. I personally love cliffhangers and while I knew what was going to happen next towards the end I was shocked that it just stopped. I thought it was going to continue a little bit more then have some kind of cliffhanger. After reading the Too Far series I was already prepared. I look forward to see where Abbi Glines takes Woods and Della Fans at with the next installment of Perfection series. Originally posted at Wickedly Delicious Book Blog

Not everyone sees you the way you do. Sometimes our imprecations are what makes us specials. Wow that so much fun! I absolutely loved being back in the Rosemary Beach world. If you haven't read her Fallen too Far trilogy, I highly recommend that you do, but even if you haven't you can still read this one! This starts off with Della who is off to find herself on a road trip. Along the way she meets Woods and they have a one night stand. Or at least it's supposed to be. Four months later, she ends up working at the club he manages at in Rosemary Beach. There's a forced engagement, heart breaking flashbacks and a haunted past...and that's all saying about the plot! Just READ THIS ONE! I loved her. I loved her with a something so fierce I couldn't even name it. I LOVED the relationship development between Woods and Della. Immediately they're attracted to one another and it's hot and steamy. Then it grows and I loved seeing them getting to know one another and slowly fall in love. Woods was so caring and so sexy! I couldn't get enough of him! I think I actually might like him better than Rush, and that's saying something!! "I don't want to destroy you." "Losing you would be the only thing that could destroy me." Ahhhh!!! He was so protective of her! "You are mine. Do you hear me? You are mine Della Sloane. I will take care of you. Nothing is taking you away from me. Nothing." *swoon* Della is battling her own demons. And I loved how she slowly let Woods in and let him be there for her. It was so sweet! "You're it for me, baby. Just You. You're not going to be your mother. You're special and unique and we're going to get you help. But I will be right by your side the entire time. I'll never leave you. I swear it." Oh Woods..*sigh* I don't know what it is about these books but I seriously can never put them down. They're so much fun to read and super easy to fly through. So so addicting!!!! I'm so excited to read more! "I am in awe of the things you've been put through and the fact you can still light up a room when you walk in. When I look at you I see life. I see joy. I see my future."

I've liked Woods since reading Fallen Too Far and was ecstatic to hear that he was getting his own book. I was not disappointed! I loved this book! What I loved: I love the characters-both Woods and Della. They were both well developed and likable characters. I loved the story-I couldn't put it down and finished it late one night because I couldn't sleep until I finished it. Their story-not too mushy and definitely not fairy-tale like, yet still romantic. The writing was wonderful, but I knew to expect that from Abbi Glines. :)

A return to the world of Rosemary, the land of the beautiful people. Men that make you weak at the knees just by glancing your way, and women who turn men into putty with their innocent beauty and perfect orbs. No uglies here folks! This is Woods story. Under the control of his father, Woods must prove himself worthy to join the Board of the family business. This means doing whatever Daddy says, including marrying Angelina, a girl he detests. Enter Della Sloane. Della grew up living a nightmare. She comes to Rosemary looking for adventure....and she finds it. With Woods. He is her knight in shining armour. This story felt very rushed in places to me. Della and Woods had known each other days before they were moving in together...with everything on the line for Woods, I found this a little far-fetched no matter how drool worthy she was. He really didn't know anything about her at this point. On a positive note, Woods was much more likable once you got to know him then in previous books. It will be interesting to see how their story progresses.
