"No matter where you are, everyone is always connected", is the quote (from Lain) I would use to describe this book. Reading this was such a jaw-dropping experience, since every chapter contained a plot twist of its own. It leaves you on the edge of your seat and keeps you wondering who the real bad guy is, and why each event matters.

A lot of people liked this one more than I did. It was creepy at the beginning, but I think that Japanese is a hard language to translate smoothly. You can really feel that sort of disjointedness the closer you get to the end as perspectives constantly change. It wrapped everything up nicely but a lot of moments were forgettable to a point where I was flipping back through pages to trigger my memory. 

While it’s an easy and engaging read, plot falls a bit flat and there isn’t a compelling plot/story to the mystery

really like how they included drawings & a fake screenshot of a blog. i also liked how the timeline wasn't linear and it just revealed pieces of information slowly which makes the ultimate reveal shocking to a certain extent while also not making it as overwhelming as some thrillers! i started this book today and couldn't put it down i literally fell asleep holding my kindle cause i really didn't wanna put it down... 

i get the hype! altho there were parts that were a little hard to follow but i think it's just that my brain  couldn't remember some plot pieces since they were revealed so. dull (?) i don't know if this makes sense but it's like i didn't pick it up as relevant since it was revealed so naturally that when it all tied together i was :0. good book!!!! deserves its flowers. i can't wait to read strange houses!
