Unbelievable is the fourth book in the Pretty Little Liars series and the final book in what is considered the first arc in the series. Nowadays thirteen books have been released as well as two companion novels called Pretty Little Secrets and Ali’s Pretty Little Lies. The series has been turned into an ABC original series with the same name.
The series follows four teenage girls whose mutual friend Alison went missing two years ago. They started to receive those creep messages signed as A a few days before her friend’s body was found. After that the messages don’t stop, moreover this person A seems to know everything about them and for some reason wants them destroyed.

 Hanna is in hospital, she discovered who A was and A hit her with a car before she could tell the others. Then when she wakes from her coma she doesn’t remember anything. Emily is in Iowa with her strange aunt’s family. Aria moves into Meredith apartment after Ezra and him were discovered and he was put in jail. Spencer memory is starting to remember what happened the night Ali disappeared and those memories are making her think she had something to do with her murder. While all this happens A keeps attacking them, therefore who A is, why this person knows everything. Probably A is something close to them, someone wearing a mask however, no one can wear a mask for a very long time.

 Unbelievable was without doubt a thrilling book. Despite the time it took me to read it I am quite sure that was one of the most nail-biting books in the series. However, it seems to me that in this series all books start with a slow paced beginning, then about a third into the book it starts getting better to end with a very exciting ending.
As it was expected the book was creepy and scary at times and kept me digging who A was and who the killer might be.

 Taking everything into account, I think the Unbelievable and the Pretty Little Liars series, in general, is a good series for anyone who loves mystery, thrillers and YA. Moreover, if you are thinking on buying then I really recommend the paperback box set as it results cheaper.
