I DID like this. I just... I"m a little confused.

When was it made obvious that Jared was the quiet, moody one? Honestly, when Kennedy told us that, I flipped back through the pages, looking to see if that had been made obvious and I'd just missed it.

Also, when was it made obvious that Kennedy liked Jared over Lukas (besides when she, you know, started making heart-shaped eyes at him, cartoon-style).

Anyways, I will be looking for those things when I reread it when the next one(s) come out.


P.S. Also, does anyone else find it interesting that both of the authors from the beautiful creatures duo have a character named Lukas/Lucas in their solo novels? And both characters are points on the love triangle?

I was hooked. It is one those books that you can't put down until the end. Also, the book was interesting the whole time, there wasn't a part where I thought that I was too tired to read it or that it was too boring. It kept me in its claws until the very end and beyond that. I can't wait to read more about what happens to Kennedy or the other four kids who came close to my heart during the book. It was just perfect!

A great book and a mix of supernatural, adventure, and horror but still a great book.

Unbreakable is the first book in the Legion series. It was a good introduction to the characters and the problem that the main character, Kennedy, and the other Legion members face. Though the book does not have the depth of description and the gothic feel that Beautiful Creatures series had, it is fast paced and full of action that never stops. The characters are likable and interesting. I'm anxious to read the next book in the series to know what happens next.
