this was so good, i loved mack, he’s so funny and he and gavin literally talks and acts like a fictional character, and that’s what i love about this series. it should’ve been a five star, if they could’ve known each other more because it feels so fast, unlike in the first book they already know each because they’re already married.

This series is becoming my faves. When I was reading the first book, I was hoping for Mack and Livvy. The big gestures have got to be my fav moments in the series so far

No good. If I remember correctly, at one point they are about to hook up and I think the MMC quotes the Star Spangled Banner. I thought his secret was nothing he needed to worry about his reputation being ruined for. Liv's reaction to finding out was SO immature. Yes, let's equate the (view spoiler)[doings of the parents to the kids. Because at no point during the book did he remotely hint that he would be like his father. People are allowed their secrets. It wasn't like they had been together for a long time. Not sure why she felt betrayed that he didn't tell her or that he would be like his dad. (hide spoiler)] Liv was insufferable. She sat upon the highest horse that happened to be standing upon the highest soapbox I have ever seen.

*4.5 stars I didn’t think Adams could out-do herself with the sequel to Bromance Book Club, but Undercover Bromance was even better than the first book. Getting to know Mack and Liv’s past and personality behind their tough exterior showed so much character development. I loved the united front the group put up in order to stand up for what is right. And most of all, I loved that Adams showed the Book club as a group of guys that were not afraid to share their feelings and didn’t partake in toxic masculinity. Looking forward to the third book! Highly recommend reading this one

first book was a lot better with a much better character arc. i still liked the male lead but i was basically skimming everything the girly was saying. luv mack 🫶🏼

I will forever and always be in love with Mack. He is such a sweet man and I adore him with everything I have. I really feel like the characters grew and became better people because of each other. They are everything to me!

I LOVED this book! At least, I loved the banter between the two leads. I loved the comedic part of the book, though sometimes it can feel ill-timed. The premise is also pretty interesting… I mean, a male character who reads romance books? Heck, a GROUP of male characters who love romance books so much that they form a BOOK CLUB? The romance plot is pretty generic, and the take-down-the-evil-guy subplot doesn’t feel like it’s very well thought out… It feels like the writer just put it there as an afterthought. But then again, this is a romance book, not a spy thriller or a suspense. An easy, light read to keep you entertained.

4.5 stars As someone who didn't really care for either Liv or Mack in the first book, imagine my surprise at being completely won over by them and rooting for their relationship to succeed! I was really taken by the overall storyline, though it's a bit of a simplified version of #MeToo. Still, it's important and I appreciate the care it was given and how Liv and Mack navigated through it.

5 Stars! If I can give more than 5, I definitely will! ✨ Lyssa Kay Adams, I love you. Omg! This book is amazing. The storyline is beautiful. It’s hilarious and I don’t even know how will I move on from this. This is like the best book I’ve read in 2020. And I definitely—no doubt—no second thought that THIS IS MY FAVORITE BOOK OF THE YEAR! My top 10! 🥰🥰 I’m happy. SO HAPPY and I’m in love with this Series. You know, there this weird feeling you have whenever you finished reading a book, a good book—the feeling of satisfied and not enough at the same times. It’s like you’re happy with the book, with the characters, the storyline and the ending but it’s still not enough and the need to read it again and again just to fulfill the needs is kind of disturbing. That makes it special. The the friendship this men have is incredible and it really really warm my heart. And My Heroin, the strong wonderful independent woman with the Girl Power attitude really put big impact to our hero. And we all know the life we have is really different from what we read from the Romance Novels. Hehe 😉 I’m going to shut up now and please read this book! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED :)

These books! I can’t get enough of them! Thank you, Jackie F for letting me borrow the first one! I need to just buy all of them so that they’re at the ready when I finish one because they’re so good!

They’re the perfect blend of romance, steam, conflict, and tackling deep personal issues that each character is carrying. And it’s not one-sided. So far, both MC’s have a unique and deep-rooted…not mental disability, but something that stops them from accepting or giving love. This blend is what makes Adams’ novels stand out and the most relatable. She challenges the couples to be vulnerable.

I so wish this series was required reading, especially this book. It dives hard into sexual harassment, domestic violence, abuse, and disrespect that women are faced with and why and how it happens. It makes such excellent points that I never thought to consider. I think men and women would both benefit from reading this book just for this reason.

Rosie and Hop make me exceedingly happy. I wish we readers could’ve had more of Hop’s experiences in the book club, but that probably would’ve taken away too much from the main storyline.

Vlad, aka the Russian, had me giggling so many times. He provides such delicious and awful humor. Why he keeps torturing himself with cheese when he reacts the way he does, I’ll never know. But it made for such wonderful humor. I also want to give him so many hugs. He is precious. I can’t wait to read his story (yes, I peeked at the rest of the books in the series, and his is number 4!).

10/10 recommend to every single man, woman, romance enthusiast, etc. Everyone needs to read this.

i think i liked this one more than the first? but then again i'm a sucker for a romantic suspense plotline.

This was really cute! For some reason, I felt like it went super fast, but I didn't mind. RTC

ANOTHER WONDERFUL BOOK. even though i liked the first one better, this one is still undoubtedly a 5 star read. it was funny, it was adorable. it has swooning and screaming. i am forever in love with mack - his feminism was remarkable and i wish men in real life were like him. he was conscious of his privilege and of the depths of the problem. I love how unapologetic the bromance club is about reading romance. i’m aware it is the whole concept of the series but i still found myself grinning about how genuine and unapologetic they were about it. i loved how they were all conscious - not just mack. now… not going to lie, liv got on my nerves sometimes. in the first book, there were times i wanted to punch her and in her book there were moments where she was just so judgmental (which she was called out for) - ugh. she eventually realised she was wrong - hallelujah. as i said, this was an amazing book. and i’m completely in love with this series. (also, i love vlad and can’t wait for his book - which is the fourth one). 5-stars✨

Didn't think it'd be possible, but I loved this one even more than the first. So in love with this series!!

I am starting by giving this one 5 ⭐️s. Why? Because it’s even better than the first one. We have the FOUNDER of the Bromance Bookclub getting a taste of his own medicine and it was gooooooood! I don’t know why, but that bastard chef? I was picturing Gordon Ramsay the whole time. That’s awful! The sense of justice was amazing. I loved this book from beginning to end. You guys need to give this series a try! I cannot wait for the third one! ❤️‍🔥

I might have liked this one better than the first! Probbaly because I preferred seeing the beginning of the relationship then the rebuilding of a relationship. Or maybe I just really liked Mack. He loevs his mom, kids, and genuinely likes romance novels... what more can you ask for in a man? I really liked how Liv and Mack's relationship developed and how cute they were together. the low-level enemies to friends to lovers was fun! This book had some really good discussions about sexual assault and women's rights and such which was neat.

I loved this even more than the first one!! Braden Mack will have a place in my heart, I love him. I loved the enemies to lovers with him and Liv, and they work really well together! He motivates her and was with her every step of the way!! Also, the spice 🌶 was so good!

I didn't like this as much as book one especially at first but in the end this too is a very solid romance and I'm excited to get into book 3 rather soon.

Oh my God, I loved this. Loved the couple, the flow of the book, everything. Just haven't finished first because I was waiting for the audiobook become available in my library, but man, this was so cute. The plot of the sexual harassment was pretty well portrait, the ending the author gave to this was perfect, I think the best that it could be. Hope you all also enjoy the reading because that was a fresh air before my last readings!
