Quick read, interesting as a fan of her movies and the podcast. Bittersweet that it includes so much about husband Chris Pratt and their relationship, knowing now that they’re divorcing.

All I really knew about Anna was 1. that she was Chris Pratt's wife, 2. that she was supposed to be good comedian, and 3. that her and her now soon-to-be ex-husband posted adorable pictures on Instagram. That's it. I gave this book a chance because both Anna and Chris have been in the media so much lately due to their divorce, and I was curious. Turns out I really, REALLY, enjoyed getting to know her better and discovering that I could relate on many levels. Anna is approachable, (yes) funny, positive, and genuinely interested in other people despite being a celebrity. 

Like some other readers noted, it felt a bit awkward reading on relationship advice and all the amazing things that make Chris a perfect husband/father knowing that they are no longer together. The book was obviously written long before the separation announcement (while the foreword by Pratt is quite recent), but something tells me neither of them would have badmouthed the other if given a chance to edit the relevant chapters. It just feels odd for the reader, as if you know something the author doesn't and just can't relay it to them in real time.

Take that awkwardness away and you are left with a charming, light memoir/life musings from a very funny lady. Definitely worth a read.

I wanted to love this book more than I did. I've never been a die hard fan of Anna's but I she never fails to make me laugh in her movies. 

I remember being in tears the first time I watched Just Friends... anywho I though you know what I'll give it a shot and I got the audio book to have something to listen to on my way to and from work, at lunch... etc 

The advice was hilarious and some of it was genuinely great and I will use in my own marriage. The hardest part when reading or listening was heartbreaking. She talks about her then husband Chris Pratt in such a loving , admiring way like every wife should talk about their husbands, only spoiler alert they've already announced their divorce. It did put a little damper on the book. So honestly my review is more 3 1/2 stars not 4.
