ALMOST as good as the first book... This was a nice follow up to the first book but it did drag on towards the end while at the same time certain events seemed rushed/forced. Sterling, who was a minor confusing character in book 1 is no better developed in book 2 but has a much larger part that was more confusing and felt forced. In general, started out strong, ended a little flat. I skipped the last chapter to save myself the toothache from all the gushy, mushy blah that went on and on.

Better than the first book, and again, the beginning seriously hooked me in, but it fell flat during the second half. It got too convoluted and a little eye-roll worthy, but at least (view spoiler)[there's a HEA this time – yay (hide spoiler)]! ******* Really... I don't even know if I want to read this (view spoiler)[after the disappointing ending (no HEA) of the first book... But I'm guessing this book is the HEA the MCs never got? (hide spoiler)]
