Unti Celeb Self Love Picture Book

Peanut has their heart set on gymnastics and nothing will stop them...even shoelaces! I thought this was a really sweet book about hard work, teamwork, and believing in yourself!

*read for a class assignment* Jonathan Van Ness knows how to tell a fun story. As a guinea pig enthusiast, it was especially fun to see this story about a guinea pig based on JVN's childhood pet. Peanut is a spunky, fun-loving character that was a joy to follow. It was great to see nonbinary and they/them representation done so naturally. This book screams to love truest yourself at the top of its lungs and I would expect nothing less from JVN. Definitely recommend having this on any child's and classroom's shelves.
