oh god this was fantastic talia hibbert makes her characters so real that they jump of the page and make you pull at your heartstrings💗💞 oh and the banter, chef's kiss😌 i couldn't stop smiling while reading this book please read this :)

Talia Hibbert, HOW DARE YOU! How dare you give me hilarious one-lines, sweet flashes of love, and make me cry with this book! How am I supposed to go on without this book? Act You Age, Eve Brown was the sweetness and funny and heartfelt joy I needed. Eve Brown, a determined 26 year old cut off is set on making a way for herself, even if it's by happenstance. Jacob Wayne is also determined to make his bed & breakfast successful, and he needs Eve's help to do so. The perfect sunshine/grump with the representation needed in the literary world. Probably a touch spicier than your general contemporary romance and I loved it!

Comfort reread 2022: I hit a bit of a reading slump, so I needed something I knew I'd love <3 This was great as expected. Kinda sad this series is over. But maybe Mont and his siblings next?

"Eve's family saw her as 'the sociable one'- but only because her eldest sister was a hermit, and her middle sister was a bookworm with a vague disdain for human contact." Alright, hitting a little close to home with that (Chloe and Dani of course, I am not a lot like Eve unfortunately, apart from maybe the constant wear of at least one earphone, as she seems a lot more extroverted than me). Eve’s book was most definitely my favourite of the Brown sisters trilogy as I just felt like I could relate to both Eve and Jacob on a much more personal level which had me very emotional throughout if I am completely honest. I found their ‘hate to love’ relationship incredible to read and I loved the development that both characters went through regarding themselves and their relationships with and towards other people. Talia Hibbert did it again and now I’m obsessed.
