Three Great School Stories

Malory Towers

Adrianna Giunta

I loved this reread just as much as the first time I read it as a child. I used to have the whole series on cassette tape as well and couldn’t fall asleep without it on for a long time! The only problem was I would have to get out of bed to switch the tape over so I didn’t really sleep until the last half of each book 😂
The one thing I like about Malory towers (from what I remember of the whole series) is that it still holds up now. No homophobia or racism etc. Just a good old fashioned boarding school story. The girls were really mean in this first book though which I’d forgotten about. I think most characters grew a lot in this first book and I know there’s more growth to come!
