I received an ARC of Sing to Me in exchange for an honest review, so here we go: 

For an 18 year old, Sia/Anastasia is one bad ass bitch. She’s had a hard life, she’s abandoned as a baby and tossed into the system where she learned it’s either eat or get eaten. Instead of letting it get her down, she takes shit into her own hands and makes her own path by moving halfway across the country on her own to find her family. She snags a job singing covers at cool NYC bar, where she catches the eye of the sinfully sexy Gavriel Renzetti. He is everything you’d expect a mobster to be— tall, dark, and dangerous. Daddy af. 

This book is definitely a quick read. I got sucked into from the very beginning. If you’re into mafia romances this book is for you! Can’t wait for more from V.

Este libro es el primero en la serie, trata de Gavriel un mafioso próximo a ser el capo, un hombre joven, despiadado y cruel, y Anastasia o Sia, una joven huérfana que se mundo a Nueva York para cumplir su sueño de ser cantante y averiguar que paso con sus padres. 

Ambos se conocen en el club donde trabaja Sia y por desgracia es insta-love/lust, no me gusta eso para nada, así que tómenlo a consideración si es algo que les molesta. El libro en sí, tiene buena trama y pudo haberse desarrollado mucho mejor pero el libro es muy apresurado, pasa de un punto a otro y sinceramente la manera en la que se manejan los personajes parece muy fantasioso e idealista, se podría decir un poco inmaduro el cómo ser solucionan los “problemas”. 

Sia es un buen personaje, es fuerte y directa pero solo tiene 18 años y por obvias razones es inocente de una manera y un poco inmadura, mientras que Gavriel tiene más experiencia, como ya mencione que fuera una relación insta-love es molesto porque ambos pudieron ser una muy buena pareja, la química está ahí pero no había pasado casi más de una semana y ya se proclamaban su amor. 

Los personajes secundarios son iguales aunque entretenidos y sus historias suenan interesantes, nuevamente todo parece estar a favor de la protagonista, el libro podría ser excelente si se mejoran esos puntos y se trabaja un poco más en expandir la trama, le recomiendo el libro a las personas que no tienen problemas con insta-love y les gusta la temática de mafia, de igual forma es un libro del genero dark, por lo que, hay escenas de tortura un poco explicitas.

This book is the first in the series, it is about Gavriel, a Mafioso close to being the Capo, a young, ruthless and cruel man, and Anastasia or Sia, a young orphan who went to New York to fulfill her dream of being a singer and find out what happened to her parents.

They both know each other at the club where Sia works and unfortunately it's insta-love/ lust, I don't like that at all, so take it into consideration if it's something that bothers you. The book itself has a good plot and could have developed much better but the book is very rushed, it goes from one point to another and honestly the way the characters are handled seems very fanciful and idealistic, you could say a little immature by how the "problems" are solved. 

Sia is a good character, she is strong and direct but she is only 18 years old and for obvious reasons she is innocent in a way and a little immature, while Gavriel has more experience, as I already mentioned that it was an insta-love relationship is annoying because they could have been a very good couple, the chemistry is there but almost a week had passed and they were already proclaiming their love.

The secondary characters are the same although entertaining and their stories sound interesting, again everything seems to be in favor of the protagonist, the book could be excellent if those points are improved and a little more work is done on expanding the plot, I recommend the book to the people who have no problems with insta-love and like the mafia theme, in the same way it is a book of the dark genre, so there are scenes of torture that are a bit explicit.
