It’s so bittersweet to be finally finished with this series after starting it all the way back in October. I’ve loved every minute of this whole series and the final book was the cherry on top. I even stopped reading for a few days to prolong my immersion otherwise I would of finished it a lot sooner 🤦‍♀️

I can easily say that my favourite scenes in the book were the ones with Kaiden and Alex as a couple. I LOVED rereading all of their interactions because they’re so cute and they make my heart melt 🥰

I was surprised that almost 2/3 of the book was dedicated to the Gates of Testing in Tia Auras 🌞 But I’m not complaining because I loved all of the trial scenes especially as Alex and her friends go through heartbreaking and revealing situations that further bond them.

The final battle is intense and for me it was a satisfying end to the series. But it honestly did terrify me a bit when literally everyone died and I’m like “please tell me they all didn’t die” [spoiler, they don’t all die thanks to trusty time travel] .

Would highly recommend this series to all fantasy lovers. For future reference, I’m definitely going to be auto buying all of Lynette Noni’s books 🌼 have you read this series? What were your thoughts?
