I was super excited to dive back into this world! And I’m so happy I did. Savannah seriously had me rooting for her. I loved her strong character and her determination to get things done.

The chemistry between Jaxson and her was OMG, loved it so much. I like that their relationship has slowly developed and strengthen thru out the course of the series.

I must add the side characters in there, loved her family. The process of Savannah acclimating to this new life was super interesting to read about.

I think this book gave more opportunities to learn about the characters which I love! I’m such a sucker for character lead books. Looking forward to much more!

I’m so happy I finally got around to reading UNTAMED FATE! I was really looking forward to the next chapter in Jaxon and Savy’s story, and I’m glad I wasn’t disappointed. The mystery that I’d appreciated in Wolf Marked was still here, but while in the first installment there was more attention to building the world, what I loved about this one is that we get to focus more on the main characters and their relationship. This isn’t to say that the world didn’t expand, because it did and we get to visit some pretty interesting locations and explore some truly whimsical magic.

My relationship with Savy continues to be a little strained. I adore her strong mind, but I can’t say I always agree with her reasoning, especially when her stubbornness puts herself and others at risk and she refuses to accept help. On the other hand, Jaxon was a huge surprise! While I sometimes struggled with his character in the first book, something about him pressed all the right buttons this time. Maybe it’s because I’ve developed a strong taste for the protective alphas who make “nobody touches her but me” their way of life. I didn’t think it was possible, but the chemistry between Savy and Jaxon was even more electric in this installment. I really love their antagonistic banter, but when they lower their shields the sparks FLY. Fans of slow burn and forbidden romance really have their hands full with these two. AKA me. I have my hands full, and I swear I scream at those wolf pups to “just f*ck already” every other chapter!

While some of my theories regarding Savannah were proven true, there is still so much to uncover about her LaSalle heritage. I have some theories—and some trust issues—so I can’t wait to jump into the next book to find out more!

This book was such a good read! The tension between Savy and Jaxson was at an all-time high! 

Untamed Fate begins a little while after the first book ended, with Savy trying to find her place in a world filled with supernatural beings she was unaware of for most of her life. However, the blood sorcerer, who we find out the identity of, is placing Jaxson's wolves into a sleeping curse until he gets what he wants--Savy. 

This book was fast-paced, with incredible characters and a kickass heroine! I loved it! 

The only reason I didn't give this book five stars, even though I wanted to (my rating is more like 4.5 stars), was because Savy's animosity towards the wolves is annoying me a bit. She can accept her cousin and his family but think of the werewolves as monsters? However, she is starting to thaw towards them, but I'm not going to say why!

This book has me screaming the adult version of “JUST KISS!”

Untamed Fate was an amazing sequel, where the characters shone as brightly as they had in the first book, and with a plot that was fast, addicting, and brim with mystery. Some of my theories were confirmed, but others still need to play out. I can’t wait to see if I’m actually right! (Writing reviews for sequels is hard because there’s double the pressure not to spoil and the result is me writing nonsensical phrases. Ugh!) 

The tension between Savannah and Jaxson reached new heights, and I loved the scenes we got of them together. The moment these two finally let go and do the deed, it’ll be glorious! Am I a little frustrated with how she reacted to the big reveal in the end? Yes. Do I understand it? I guess I can. She’s a woman who values her independence, so it’s a very understandable reaction, especially since Jaxson’s hesitancy given by the fact she belongs to a family that is the sworn enemy of his pack makes her feel like whatever feelings she may be developing aren’t reciprocated. I think I might have reacted like her, but as a reader who has the privilege of peering into both of their minds and sees that those two stubborn pups are made for each other, I screamed at the book and wanted to cry. 

But oh, the drama!
