This story advances with a series of photographs taken by the author during a trip to San Felipe Nuevo Mercurio, Zacatecas, where an abandoned mine is around the collective memory; high contrast images make the landscape (seemingly calm) a rarefied texture, sometimes monstrous and a threatening environment.
