What an amazing start to a series. Check the trigger warnings! This was my first pitch black dark romance. It took some time for me to get I to this one but when I did I couldn't put it down. Can't wait for more from Veronica.

**Let me start this by saying if you have triggers, and I mean ANY triggers at all, this book will more than likely hit them. You have been warned**

This book is THIIIIICK, by far my longest read this year. The beginning of this book started off a little slower, just because your getting a lot of world building and back story. It’s all so important. Once this story gets it’s claws into you it won’t let go. War, Unfinished really puts you through all your emotions with these characters. You can feel their happiness, fear, heartbreak and everything in between. 

Rafelo 😍 I’m completely obsessed with him. He had been through so much, far more than any one person should have to go through. What makes it worse is it’s all because of his brother. 

Noelle, that poor girl. Her story is so tragic but she is so strong. There are still so many pieces of information to be uncovered about her. 

Michele, I was told I would probably hate him first, correct, I do. There were times when I thought he could redeem himself and make me love him, then he would turn around and do something even worse. He is truly a fantastic villain. I can wait for the next book to see if he can redeem himself. He had ALOT to make up for. 

That ending though!? How could you do that to me 😫 I need the next book. I know Rafelo will make the right choice, he just will, but WTF!? HOW??
