Island

Magnifique histoire, très belle écriture + ayant visité l’île ainsi que Plaka j’ai réussi à m’imaginer là-bas

Roisin Giles

This book follows the story of three generations of a family living in Plaka, in Crete, and their family struggles. Unfortunately, their family have two cases of leprosy and so at different times, are sent to the island of Spinalonga which was a leper colony.

It is written beautifully and the main theme of the book that I took away is that there is good in everything. It may be small, but there is little bits of good everywhere.
