Man's Search for Meaning

I think the first half, about the horrors of the Holocaust, is strangely the least interesting half of this book. My review would definitely have been lower if not for Frankl's relentlessly optimistic outlook he goes over extensively (but not for too long) in the latter half.

I read a book about pessimism not too long ago and while some of it had merit, it just got boring fast; Frankl's "tragic optimism", on the other hand, just gets better as you learn more about it. Maybe I'm just in the right place to read this book, but everything he said resonated with me and I found logotherapy to be something way, way more people need to be hearing about now and forever. We gotta keep trying.
