Virginie manages to write about the male gaze and its influences on sex work, pornography, and the madonna/whore complex with a very sharp observation eye. She manages to build arguments as well as empathy while stating the clear problem: patriarchy and its underlying structures that can be tackled by a feminist approach (not just the female one, but one that includes all parties).
