A solid start even though There were a few poorly thought out plot points. Like why would the King go searching for a cure HIMSELF. Like dude you have a country to run we can’t risk you??? Also I’m not certain how I feel about Vi being some kind of chosen one bc it makes Valla’s story feel like an incubation narrative for her future magic baby.
