Written by Sarah Porter, this novel picks up with Luce all alone and in love with a human. Yup, that happened.

If I hadn’t already placed a hold on this book, I wouldn’t have listened to it. And that would have been regrettable.

This novel was amazing. So much better than the first, in that there was a real story. Challenges. Growth. I loved it.

We had actual stories.

I would recommend this book to any fan of mermaids, YA, or fantasy.
