Fantastic book. I'm a huge fan of Walter Isaacson and he does not disappoint in presenting a modern account to Franklin's life and impact on the world.

2nd reread. Focused primarily in late 1700s. Masterpiece

I didn't know a ton about Benjamin Franklin before reading this treatment of his life but in a short read I feel like I know the man pretty well. The book is well written and covers important parts of his life.

Nice little bio with a seemingly broad-based look at his entire life. Contains lots of great quotes from his letters and works as well as some contrasting info from a variety of academic thinkers and ensuing historical commentators.
