Ok I finished this book a few weeks ago and I’m still thinking of it. That must prove how amazing this book was! Forbidden romance? Check Hot leads? Check Fierce love? Check Steamy sex? C.H.E.C.K This read was steamy, and good and hot and so worth the read. Cane and Kandy are literally perfect for each other and damn I am so ready to read the next book!! The slow burn and the sexual tension and damn the twists. I am in loooove. And that damn cliffhanger??? Help me god. Yas Queen Shanora. Yas. I loved this! Thank you author for this book.

One thing for sure is this book is heartbreaking. Like I usually don't cry but I almost did. The second part is just sad even though they are finally together you know it will not last and so do they. Just heartbreaking. And ending, oh ending was everything. The author wrote this perfect bc you could feel what they feel. Idk how to explain but I didn't expect this. I wanted one quick read with sum and I got so much more. Do I regret it? Fuck no.
