So I liked the visual style of this collection alot. The photos are stunning and so is the formatting. I also like the theme and message. However I wasn't really into some of the poems. I don't have anything against insta poetry but some of these were just so randomly spaced and super reminiscent of another insta poet that I am not the biggest fan of.

I didn’t realize how much I needed a book like this until I was reading it. I found myself bookmarking almost every poem because it resonated with me so much. On top of that, I cried through both part 4 and 5. This is a book that I know will stick with me for awhile. 
The writing style is absolutely gorgeous, I felt moved by it from the very beginning. The visuals did nothing, but enhance my connection with the pieces. The themes were explored in a way I don’t think I’ve experienced before. I loved the use of the color green and it’s transformation, specifically. 
I highly recommend this book if you have ever had a falling out with a friend, love witches and fantasy, or just need a new take on contemporary poetry; you won’t regret it!

Water runs red is a wholesome poetry book.
Finally, a poetry book with original ideas, a unique voice and with words that flow naturally with each other. I truly loved how the photos make each poem an experience to live and explore, it was a really nice touch. This is what I was looking for the whole time.
I don’t follow the author on social media, but I think I will from now on. I truly loved what she had to say and how she said it, I hope she comes out with more.
