Taj Mahal The Illumined Tomb : an Anthology of Seventeenth-century Mughal and European Documentary Sources

Assembled here for the first time are all the known original historical sources for the Taj Mahal, which was built by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan as a tomb for his wife Mumtaz Mahal, following her death in 1631.
