3.5 stars | Cute story. Though this book is marketed as YA (it earns it its rating towards the end), I thought the narration was a bit childish... I felt like Stewart and Ashley's voices were a lot younger than 13 and it was slightly off putting. It got a lot better in the last 25% and I even teared up at the end.

Told in alternating voices this quick read hits the perfect pitch with middle school popularity and dramas. 
It takes time for kids to realise that popular and good looking do not equate to "nice" "good" or "kind" and this book illustrates the point very well.

Stewart canâe(tm)t quite fit in at his new school, and Ashley canâe(tm)t quite get used to her totally awkward home, which is now filled with some rather questionable decor. And things are about to get a whole lot more mixed up when these two very different people attract the attention of school hunk Jared. . .
