This book is likely one of the best i have ever read. The ideas of Aztec culture, mythology, romance, and Reapers and Necromancers is a heavenly blend. 

Nyx is empowering, a real figure of authority in the book. She’s intelligent and witty and basically slaying life. 

Erebus is mysterious and reserved but also emotional and aware of himself in a way we don’t often see men portrayed 

This story makes me want to read more and it actually made me feel something, which is new to me. I immensely enjoyed this book. 
Definitely worth your time.
