For an adaptation of a screen play, this was actually quite good. It has been a while since I watched the movie, but it definitely stays very close to the movie. I felt it could have used a bit more in terms of the descriptions of the characters, but otherwise, I found it just as delightful as the movie. This book is a quick read and, I think, as close as it stays to the script, the movie is just better.

You can read this book easily without having watched the movie, but I would recommend just watching the move, honestly. The book does not have the art of the comedic timing down.
