Hungry Daughters of Starving Mothers is a powerful horror short that well deserves the Nebula it was just awarded. The visuals are horrid, but so effective, and the story builds up to a terrible moment of dread. Definitely a good read!

UPDATE: For some reason they changed the name of a short story for a magazine issue, so I've read Hungry Daughters of Starving Mothers by Alyssa Wong, not the whole issue.

It was weird, but interstingly so. Although, unfortunately, didn't grab my attention in the way I wanted it too. It wasn't anything mindblowing or too special, although kind of creepy, which I enjoyed.
