* I received this book as an ARC from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review* Gris- a watcher who can shift into his protector form of a gargoyle. New in town trying to help solve a paranormal problem they seem to be having. Piper- trying to get the best score on her ACTs so she can leave her town. But she has a few secrets of her own. Together they meet and realize they can both help each other. I have to say I really enjoyed this book. This is the first book I've ever read with gargoyles! I thought it was very creative.I will say his book does have self harm in it, not too extreme but it may be a trigger for someone . I did like the romance that was involved, it did at times seem very predictable. I'm looking forward to reading more from this author, and excited to see what other worlds they can create for me to explore! All in all i really enjoyed reading this book.
