I was pleasantly surprised by this book. I tried reading this a few months back & just COULD NOT get into it. But this weekend after finishing Jane Eyre, I decided to give it another go & I’m so happy I did! 

Although this was a fictional biography of the later life of F. Scott Fitzgerald & it was so interesting & atmospheric. I almost didn’t want it to end because I loved the warm, even harsh, setting of old Hollywood & the struggle of familial relationships, financial strain, & the call to create stories. It was such a refreshing change from the English scene of Jane Eyre. 

I would totally recommend it if you’re interested in F. Scott Fitzgerald at all.
