This book was an extra credit read for the psychology course that I'm taking, and I did not think that it would change my way of thinking as much as it has. It's made me realize that my family has "trained" my dog into behaviors that we never meant to, or never have with another dog. I've also come up with a few scenarios that could use an LRS in the future. This book is a great read in general, but while taking a Psychology of Learning course is a bonus. I actually understood some concepts in more depth, such as reinforcement, positive or negative, and incompatible behaviors. I will be giving this to my mom to read, as I know it will help her with 'training' a few family members, or our dog, out of behaviors that we complain about but don't know how to change.
