When I Was You
Reviews

This was twisted. I had to keep guessing what was going to happen and I still never saw the ending coming. It got. little confusing at times, but the author meant it to be that way.

Overall this book was fine. I thought that the writing was done well and the story itself was interesting if not very predictable. A few chapters in I was able to figure out the first "big twist" and as I continued to read it was pretty easy to figure out the rest and how it all would end. Now that's not to say that it wasn't entertaining because it was. I was interested in the story and the characters, I just found it a bit too predictable for my tastes.

** spoiler alert ** 3.5/5 The story did have some good twists, I just wasn't wow'd by the story. Maybe it was the characters. I had a general dislike for Brie and Neil. Sam was the only character I felt myself rooting for. I feel that if they had, had Neil kill Sam thinking it was Brie it would have been more poetic. I think it would have been more of a shocking end to have the Neil kill Sam and realize Brie was completely alive and well. I don't know why they abandoned that idea. It seemed they were going for that till they didn't.
