Anna is unhappy. She finds it hard to make a friend in school. She also feels unloved by her foster parents. She goes to Norfolk village. There she meets a strange girl about her age who happens to be just as lonely as she is and they become friends. She enjoys everything they do together. It’s a pretty fun adventure they have.

I’m currently obsessed with Studio Ghibli and ‘When Marnie Was There’ is on my favorite list. I watched the movie a couple of months ago. Little did I know that the movie is based on a book. But of course, I was thrilled when I found out about it. The movie and the book are both enchanting. I could be related to Anna in some ways. It’s a lovely story about friendship and love. I also love the ending, but of course, I’m not gonna tell here. You have to find it by yourselves. 5 ✨ to this beautiful story.
