This is a review for both of the books together because I read the edition with both of them in it. I loved it so much and I knew reading in Garrisons pov was going to be sad but man it hurt a lot of the thoughts he had about himself in the beginning I could relate to, he had great character development and I loved seeing him accept himself and see himself as good enough. Now for Willow I liked her which is kind of surprising but also not, I usually don’t like characters who are shy and get really nervous (even tho I also have really bad anxiety) but sometimes like I’m this book it’s done really well, and Willow and Garrison together, so so cute, I love them.

this duet became my coping mechanism regarding the end of the addicted/calloway sisters series. 

the core six is very much present in the plot and I was finally able to read about willow and garrison. 

i have always liked them both. but after reading this, i’m completely, utterly in love with garrison. 
he has a golden heart no matter his own beliefs. 

as for willow, it was refreshing to see that although she is a sweet geek girl, i didn’t feel like she was naive. she was extremely strong and not once did she turn her back on garrison or their relationship. 

their relationship: so wholesome, so sweet. it warmed my icy heart. 

being in a long distance relationship is extremely hard and it made me really happy to see ir working out for them without any added drama, with no jealousy tantrums or anything like that. i loved how mature and healthy their relationship actually was. 

however, i felt like we were somewhat robbed. here’s why: 
i would have loved to read about their wedding and honeymoon, about them finding out willow was pregnant, as well as the birth of vada. with them being in a long distance relationship most of the two books, i feel like it was due to be able to read about those moments. 


it warmed my heart to see garrison as a uncle to moffy as well as lo’s protectiveness and friendship with garrison. 
in many ways, garrison and willow’s relationship reminded me of lily and lo’s. 

i love them all: the core eight. they are my literary found family.

gillow r so good omg they own me. while i love the core six moments, they deserved more than a plot that revolves solely around the addicted timeline :/ need the wedding and honeymoon extras Now.

I finished Gillow's dairies and to be honest I cried my ass off not only because it was their last book but also for both of their development with each other, alone and also with the core six! For me it always be core eight because yes Willow and Garrison are also part of their beautiful amazing fantastic chaotic family who I love so damn much!! I can go on and on how much I loved seeing Lo be the older brother Garrison deserves, or how Willow and Daisy's friendship means the world to be and how beautiful and perfect they are, or how Garrison just respects Lily and Lo so damn much or how Connor saw so much potential on Garrison, there's just not enough good and wonderful words to express how much!! 
I can't seriously wait to se some crumbs in Some Kind of Perfect but Willow and Garrison definitely are one of my favorite couples ever in this series along with Lily and Lo, they truly mean everything to me and I'm sad but also so happy and grateful I met them and finally read their story who was painful but also so worth it and so magnificently beautiful!! Also Moffy and Garrison relationship? Please I read the bonus scene in twenty-two-year-old Moffy's POV and him saying Garrison is the coolest person in the family right behind his parents? Beautiful, I cried all over again! This to say that I am excited to read his book eheh
Gillow have my heart and god I just love them so so much 


  I extend my arm back around Willow, sharing a gentle smile with my wife. Summers are my favorite part of the year, always full of family. And with this family, these people who protect and love without question, sixth place can feel like first.

Willow and Garrison own my heart! 

I’m gonna be truthful here. They were the reason I decided to read Addicted/Calloway Sisters in the first place. And still, even after finding out that they played the minor role in that series, my urge to finally get to them hadn’t died down. 

These two are just so perfect for each other I can’t even- *sniffs*
The best thing about them? Respecting each other’s boundaries! The love and respect they had for each other was so heart-warming! The slow pace with which they formed this tight bond made me so soft and giddy! 

The friendship content was beautiful here. Garrison and Lo’s relationship means so much to me. Garrison’s significance to The Hales was one wholesome thing to read about!

Gillow turned out to be one of the strongest couples out there but I don’t think that sticking to Bad Reputation only will do them the justice they deserve. My love for these two stems from Addicted and Calloway Sisters. That will never change. As I said in the review of Whatever It Takes, if I hadn’t read that series beforehand, if I hadn’t already been in love with those two I probably wouldn’t have been impressed with this series in any way.
