While the Duke Was Sleeping The Rogue Files
Reviews

This book was not what I wanted to read. I thought it was but turns out not. I thought it would be cute and funny much like the film (what I remember of it, I seriously need to rewatch While You Were Sleeping just to check) but it was way more alpha male and blergh than I expected which really affected my enjoyment and I just couldn't enjoy it because of that just ugh. It had good.elements but that overshadowed everything else. Especially as it was continually Struan saying he was a terrible person and saying he didn't want Poppy but kept dicking about with the girl he thought was engaged to his brother. I couldn't even with him. Stupid strudel.

Just like while you were sleeping! This book was so similar to the Sandra Bullock movie and yet it was entirely different. I loved how scandalous it was. It might even be better than the movie.

Takes the premise of the film "While you were sleeping" and sets it in Regency England with far less likeable characters. Poppy, our shop girl heroine who is secretly in love with the duke who is the flower shop's best customer is accidentally mistaken for his fiancee after a carriage accident puts him in a coma. Of course, his sexy Scottish half-brother becomes too much for Poppy to resist, throwing her into web of lies and deceit. I didn't like the characters. Poppy was annoying, and nothing like awesome Lucy from the movie. Struan, the Scottish bastard, is really a bastard. He is constantly pushing Poppy into compromising situations, treats her badly, and yet somehow she falls in love with him. I didn't find their romance very believable.
