I hate this book so much. There is so much cringe! I don't know how I would describe the MC.. shallow? Immature? Unprofessional? One of the those. The MMC is no better. Nothing about him screams Wall St. More like Bumbling St. I didn't get why in the world she got so attached to Byron. You don't know him. You have a close friend group. Why in the world did she text him some of the things that she did. (I mean, we know why - gbf) Aside from that, I could NOT wrap my head around her just constantly texting a guy she has barely known, especially when she had friends already. I mean, I know it's for the plot, but come on. You really have to suspend belief to want to finish this book. Also, could they have written the bad guy any worse? I am surprised she didn't smell hit feet from where she was sitting, or that he had bad teeth and dirty fingernails, or that she saw him taking money out of the "donate to orphans" jar.
