Alice signs up for an anonymous survey into modern day marriage, and most the email exchanges are between her 'Wife 22' and 'Researcher 101'. The twist at the end was interesting.....

I loved this book! It was so unique to have the answers to the survey, but not the questions. Most of the time I could figure out what Alice was talking about, but sometimes the answers were so odd, you just had to say "Hm." Alice talks about approaching the age her mother was when she died. She calls it her "tipping year". Oddly enough, just last week I got past the age my mother was when she died, so I could relate to Alice. This really is a great book and I look forward to more books by Melanie Gideon.

Much of the enjoyment of this book comes from the twist, which I figured out very early. I also did not feel much sympathy for Alice for most of the story - she was unwilling to do anything to change her marriage or assuage her unhappiness.
