William Shakespeare

Hamlet

This is a revenge play about Hamlet, a prince who seeks revenge after the new king, Claudius, killed Hamlet's father in order to ascend the throne. The play shows a good side of revenge, dramatic monologues, comedy and tragedy as well. Its a pretty good play, however my criticism is that the characters did not have the depth this play was supposed to have considering this isnt a light hearted play by any means. Regardless, it is the most iconic play of Shakespeare and is a good read indeed
