I'm not going to lie: I loved reading this because it really spoke to my inner child. I've always loved stories with magic and wizards and witches. I also love the ideia anyone can do magic. I loved the energy of Coco and I'm really intrigued by the mysterious veiled witch. 

I can't wait to continue to discover more!

This manga is most intriguing ! Cause I had my eye on it since last year but I was afraid of it being the steriotipical story. I'm glad that I was wrong. 
This story follows a young girl named Coco. She's been fascinated with witches for a long time. The want to become one is extinguished by the fact that witches are supposedly born with the ability to draw magic. But what happens when Coco learns about the truth behind witchcraft?

If I had to recommend a book to somebody new to manga, it would be Witch Hat Atelier. Lovely art and a compelling story, I can’t wait to see what happens next!

this was a very bittersweet experience !! the art style was adorable, the characters were instantly lovable and the plot was extremely interesting,, but the plot was also heart-breaking. am i going to cry at some point during this series? probably.

I got sucked into this world from page one. The artwork, characters, premise, and world are all wonderfully and beautifully crafted. Incredibly excited to get more into the story!

Extremely cute, extremely formulaic, contrived (why can’t they get the book from her house?) but the drawing and Art Deco design are incredible. There’s even a system to the sigil spells.

Also it doesn’t fall for the central idiocy of fantasy, which is how anyone is supposed to run a civilisation when anyone can blow it up by accident or design. Shirahama says: because we will lie to people and prevent them from knowing it’s an option.

Also plays with another trope: the follow your dreams, grit is all that matters one. All people are magic users (artists) - but the world would fall apart if they knew it.

i cannot believe i haven't started reading this earlier. i heard so many good things about this and it still exceeded my expectations! the art is beautiful, i love the panelling and i find it so easy to follow the flow of the page (which i sometimes struggle with). the world building is so fantastic and immersive and exciting, and i think the magic system is so cool! the whimsy and the characters had me smiling so much i couldn't help it. i already adore these characters and the way the story unfolds, i can't wait to keep reading and need a physical copy of this in my hands right now.

the art style is so gorgeous and compelling! It has a romantic vibe to it, it's difficult to describe how perfectly Kamome's art match with her story. She's an excellent illustrator and a pretty competent storyteller. Here we have some sunny, well-written high fantasy story with the most stunning setting and pretty clever - insanely beautiful - magic system. 

10/10 story with 10/10 art right from the beginning ?? Yes, ppl... as Mariah Carey once said, There can be miracles... When you believe.

Thrilling and exciting story about a girl overcoming her hurdles in becoming a witch due to unforeseen circumstances. This is a very good introduction to a manga series I quickly got addicted to!
