Kamome Shirahama

But everybody knows magicians are born, not made, and Coco was not born with the gift for magic. What I love so much about this manga so far is how beautiful the art is. I haven't read manga in years so maybe it's nothing unique to an avid manga reader, but the details & expressions & the folds in the clothes & all of it are so gorgeous. With most comics, I speed through the too quickly but the art here slows me down.

Anyway, to the actual story. I still feel like the pacing is a little off but improved. It's like there are 2-3 plots in one, but is that normal for manga? Perhaps, like I said,it's been a while. At least, this time, the pacing did seem smoother the vol 1, in my opinion. And the cliffhanger more earned, if that makes sense. I love learning more about the world of magic in this story. Even the ending side piece about the purpose of the witch's hat and cloak was so interesting to learn about!

Witch Hat Atelier has the absolute potential for a very vast story. Captivating art aside, the manga itself is a job well done and is an equally heartwarming and adventurous story of little girls training to become the best witches in the future. Moreover, this book has a reflective essence within it that ties magic with the real world. Highly recommend!

An amazing and gorgeous manga I cannot recommend enough

A second volume as good as the first one. I really love this series. Coco is so cute and we got to see more of Agathe and of her personality. I loved the spell created by Tetia, I wish I could do the same in real life. Again, what an ending. My heat was beating so fast, it was really intense. There is more action than in the first volume and we learn a bit more about this new magical universe. I cannot wait to read the third volume. It is really promising. Finally, the drawings are still amazing and gorgeous. It is just beautiful. I cannot recommend this series enough.

Ohlala je suis totalement en train de tomber amoureuse de ce manga.
L'univers est vraiment dingue, et les dessins toujours aussi sublimes. Coco m'émerveille, j'adore ce personnage. Et Kieffrey m'intrigue de plus en plus !
